About Us

Acorn Tree and Ground care, formerly Acorn Garden Maintenance, was founded by Luke (pictured) who started the business in 2021.

We are a small family run business based in Ashburton, Devon, covering a 50 mile radius. Our business focuses on all aspects of tree surgery, ground care, hedge cutting and much more.

Luke has worked hard over the years to grow the business and take it to new heights. He is fully qualified and insured with public liability up to 5 million pounds, to carry out all aspects of the work that we offer.

The business has gone from strength to strength and we are excited to see what the future brings.

Owner & Tree Surgeon

Luke is the business owner and can be found at the heart of all our work, delivering high standards of work on site for all of our customers.

Vicki

Office Administrator & Ground Worker

Vicki manages all of our customer contact, administration and accounts. But she can also be seen helping with chipping and clearing up on site with Luke.

Tree Surgery

Luke is a fully qualified and insured tree surgeon able to carry out all tree operations to a high standard to comply with the BS3998 regulations.

We offer this service from September through to March when the birds are no longer nesting in the hedges.

Within this service, we can tidy up your hedges, cut them hard back or even remove them completely.

Fencing

If you are looking to spruce up your tired fencing or perhaps you have lost a panel or two in a recent storm. We can come and replace the whole of your fence or perhaps just a section.

We use the best quality suppliers to ensure that your fence will last for years to come. Previously we have done, picket fencing, featheredged and paneled, but whatever your desired idea, we can make it come to life.
